Best Plumbing Services in Austin, TX
Omg, I called for some info on a disposal and the owner was not courteous. I asked about repairing a leaking disposal and was rudely told it can't be fixed, it has to replaced. I went on to inquire about his fee and his response was well, yeah I charge $115 to come out there all valid info, but his delivery was so rude I didn't even want to continue our conversation. I wrote this as soon as I hung up because that's how strongly I feel of how he spoke to me. I was very polite in asking my questions and he made feel like they were stupid questions. Won't get my business. Hopefully he changes his tune when he answers his next potential customer call.
Ha, seems like I wasn't the only one he was rude to. He got a 1 star review right before me for his rudeness.

We have used Proven twice now and on both occasions they have proved to be far better than the rest we have worked with. They have the perfect combination of professional and accommodating folks for booking/cancellations, and some really skilled and reasonable techs who would much rather keep your business in the long term than make a quick buck off of you. This last Dec 2022 winter storm, we had a water heater (the only one in the home) give up on our renters in sub-zero weather. Proven was busy, so we had another plumbing service (probably among the worst we have come across) come by. Another review awaits them; they insisted on replacing the heater, claiming 25 year of experience to be behind that decision. Well, thankfully Proven called back shortly after, offered to treat it as an emergency, came out the next day, found out the faulty part and that it was under warranty (heater was 2 years old), and what's more they put in a temp fix so hot water could start immediately. Then they came back the next day and replaced the part. They took care of the warranty and all we paid was the trip fee, which by the way was $40 less than the other plumbing service person who was clearly out to make a quick buck off the winter storm.
TL;DR: Proven is top notch, without a doubt. We plan to stick with them for our home and our rental property as well.

Gilbert answered the phone right away, was able to stop by within 3-4 hours and did a great job of re-connecting our gas dryer, after I tried and it leaked. Professional, fast and ethical. Can't recommend him enough!

Curtis was great, replaced my water heater quickly and efficiently. Did a great job being on time as well as finishing right when he said he would. He also honored an agreement and was flexible when I had to reschedule multiple times.
Thanks to Curtis and Rooterman!

My main water line valve broke during the infamous Austin winter freeze and I didn't even realize it. My water pressure was low, my sprinklers weren't working, and my grass was dying. It sucked. At first, I thought it was an issue with the sprinkler. Nope. Next I thought it was my sprinkler water lines....nope. At that point I gave up and called up some plumbers to get an estimate. Most of the plumbers quoted in the 700+ range for a replacement....and other fees in some instances. In rare instances, the plumbers never called back. Welcome to Austin.
Thankfully, I was able to connect with Capital City Plumbing and they quoted in the expected range (~500ish). I replaced my valve with PEI to prevent another burst if another freeze were to come to Austin. The work was complete on time, exactly as quoted, and I was happy. No more water pressure issues. Thank you!

Called EZ Flow after i did not get any response from 2 other plumbers ( i gave them a week to get back to me as both said they were slammed with work) and EZ Flow came out in less than 1 hour. :) Both Emilio and Jeff were courteous, efficient and professional. Reasonable price for doing multiple jobs around my house and rental property. Emilio also recommended ways for me to save time and money in the future. If i could i would rate them with 10 stars. Thanks, bob.

DIY issues!! I'm a fairly competent homeowner but this faucet repair had me tapping in for a pro. I received a quick response and appointment. Chris came out to assist and gave me credit for the day of work I had already put in so the price was much lower than originally estimated.I greatly appreciated the break and the additional tips/tricks to help me in future projects. Thank you Chris.

Henderson Plumbing did a fantastic job for me and a fair price. I will definitely use them again in the future and will recommend their services to others. Thank you!

I contacted Abel through Yelp for help with a leaky kitchen sink. He responded right away and came out the next day. He's a super nice guy and very knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend him and will use him again!

I'd highly recommend using Standard Plumbing. I reached out to Braulio on a Monday after I noticed my toilet start to leak, and he fit me into his schedule on Tuesday. He diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to fix it within an hour. My wax ring had worn out, so he replaced the ring and reset my toilet. His price was appropriate for the work. I will be using him again in the future for my plumbing needs.

Garbage disposal stopped working and sink was backed up over the Labor Day weekend. I couldn't cook or run the dishwasher. Called, left a VM on Sunday and Jaime texted me back within 30 minutes. He said he could drop by the next day at 10:30-11:00. Mind you, that was the Labor Day Monday! He showed up on time and got to work replacing the broken disposal with another one I had bought from one of the big box stores. Unplanned but he was also able to fix an old toilet at the same visit. All for a reasonable price.
Very grateful for his responsiveness and professionalism. I've found my go to plumber now and I know my old house will have something for him come back for another visit...hopefully not soon.

We were taken advantage of financially & lied to every step of the way.
We had Stan's come out for a service call, specifically a maintenance check on our HVAC system on our rental property. The technician called & advised after 15 minutes of being there, that he identified the problem. He advised the coils were leaking and he would need to refill the refrigerant. He also advised a Service Manager would
Need to come out as well to inspect the leaking coils. We were sent an invoice for over $3,000 & were told the service call & refrigerant were going to be around $900 for todays visit. We didn't trust that they were being truthful based off of the aggressive comments & conversations we had with the tech and service manager while servicing the property.
We had a reputable company come out the following day who found that the refrigerant caps were left off, & the refrigerant was also low. We advised that had to be impossible because Stan's was just at our home the day before where we paid $900 to have the refrigerant filled up. The technician explained to us what he was seeing & also confirmed the coils were NOT leaking and the previous technician would've had to do extensive work to the unit in the attic to tell if the coils were actually leaking.
I called Stan's advising my concerns and their response was, send us the invoice from the other company then. When we advised we didn't feel comfortable sending them the invoice right away and wanted them to explain what work they actually did, they refused to do anything without having the other companies invoice. Mickey, who is supposed to be a manager'was rude, combative, and not helpful at all. I'm not sure what his role was supposed to be in helping us but he did absolutely nothing and didn't care at all when voicing our concerns about our home.
It's extremely frustrating and disappointing that a company and staff can treat people this way and we will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

The Good:
:: it's a local business!
:: they offer regular and emergency plumbing services
:: they are very professional in communications
:: they text you with confirmation of your appointment
:: they are very effective at their jobs
:: they are licensed and insured, not some fly-by-night operation
:: the fee charged for after-hours service is reasonable (less than $200)
:: Mark/Marc (my plumber) was fantastic--very friendly, very effective at fixing the leak that happened with the line feeding into my tankless. He not only fixed the leak but improved the component that was the connector between tankless and water line so that it was a more secure, modern fitting. He also took time to explain things to me, which I always appreciate!
:: they take credit cards
:: they send you photos of the job with your receipt for good recordkeeping purposes
The Bad:
:: none
The Ugly:
:: none
Would I use them again? Absolutely yes...they are now my go-to for emergency plumbing needs, hands down. Put these guys on speed dial in your phones so when something goes awry, you don't need to look for who to use--you'll have these guys ready to go!

Highly recommend! I had really low water pressure in my kitchen sink and I had another plumbing company come out to fix it. They told me it would be the same cost to replace the faucet as it would to blow out the lines to find the blockage. Since that plumber made the water pressure worse trying to assess the issue, I decided to contact someone else. Plumb and Order answered the phone after hours and was able to give me a general quote over the phone. We got an appt set up and they showed up on time and fixed my problem for half of what the other company had quoted. He also took a look at my water heater and gave me a quote to replace it which was half of what I had been quoted by another company 6 months ago. They were friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and more reasonably priced than other companies I have dealt with.

WOW, this company is certainly a rarity nowadays. Fabulous communication (emailed with me right away and through an evening after hours.) (explained everything to me, even drew a pic to illustrate problem, and I know zero about this stuff) fabulous workmanship.(did a nice job with repair and cleaned up after himself actually making the area cleaner than it was before) and fair prices. Will absolutely use in the future and highly recommend. Certainly lives up yelp ratings. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. : )

Overall, I would recommend hiring this company for plumbing needs.
They were prompt, professional, and very friendly.
The work was completed quickly and proficiently.
I did have to haggle on the bill a bit, but that is to be expected. We received a 15% discount for being a first time customer (they offer 10% off for returning customers), and the owner Mark was very pleasant to deal with on the phone.
I also looked PPS up on the better business bureau. They have been operating since 2009 and have had no complaints at all. Pretty remarkable!
The only advice I might give is to be sure you understand the pricing before you get them over to your house. They expect immediate payment. It's $90.00 an hour with a minimum charge of an hour. There will be a mark up on the parts for labor (standard practice.) There's a $45 service fee no matter what. Write down when they arrive, and when they leave. Plumbers get paid more than most doctors, so don't faint when you get your bill. They're ALL expensive, but very necessary!
Good luck!

Olvin did an amazing job helping us remodel our 2 bathrooms. The two (Olvin & Hiram) were professional, had great attention to detail, and super responsive to our questions! I can not recommend Fuentes Tile enough, my wife and I have had multiple contractors do sub par work, so we were hesitant to just go with anybody. Olvin made us feel very good about his quality of work, comfortable with the working hours, and continued to keep the remodel clean throughout the progress of the job. We are very happy with the finished product, 100% recommended with 5 stars!!!

Scott did an amazing job with my leaking pipe in my garage. I messaged him at 11pm on Friday night and he responded in real-time and was able to come out the next day. He also helped me with trying to get me maximum coverage with my insurance and even gave me a discount when they didn't cover the repairs. 5/5 would recommend Scott again!

Nick was very nice and explained everything he was fixing. We had him come by for a water heater problem and seak link. He fixed both within about an hour and the rate he charged was very reasonable. I would definitely use him again.
